And then, we want to say THANK YOU! We don’t yet know the final results of the fundraisin for the Congo Project through the Easter sweets from the Alpini, but in any case thank you to everyone! To the friends who contributed with purchases and donations to ATF; to the Milan Section of the Alpini Association for trusting us; and to the Sesto San Giovanni Alpini Group for their operational support. As soon as possible, we’ll let you know the amount donated by the Alpini and the specific project it will support. The curiosity is growing…

Now, some updates on our activities.
ISIRO, CONGO:
The children’s canteen is continuing well, although with temporarily reduced numbers—it’s the rainy season, which means planting time in the fields, so some mothers are unable to bring their children to the canteen.
We have some photos of the children’s canteen, the Neisu nursery school, and some of the people we assist… makes you want to be there, right?

BAIRE, CUBA:
The new house, designed to host all activities for child care and courses for young mothers, is now fully operational! It’s great to see the pictures. 🙂
ATF continues to support by covering the monthly assistance for six young women and the salaries of two sewing teachers. There were no additional “extraordinary” aids in March.

THANDARAI, INDIA:
We provided a tablet to the project manager to help with organizing educational programs.
In March, 23 kg of rice and other supplies were donated to people in need.
Regarding the after-school program, we are waiting for exam results—maybe two girls will go to university. We’ll see!
