Good morning and Happy New Year!
The ATF activity in Italy started off really well in 2025: finding a new home and new use for materials that can still be useful in Italy and Togo, avoiding waste.
In addition to what we have already shared, many things happened in December:
• For reusable items in Italy, ATF helped about fifteen friends by suggesting where to donate clothes, books, household items, toys, eyeglasses, bedding, and similar items. We always try to offer convenient delivery options for donors and useful ones for recipients.
Some donations have already reached various associations, including Opera San Francesco and Opera Messa della Carità, with a great ending that made us smile: 55 work suits were delivered to Sesta Opera San Fedele, which also provides support and training for incarcerated individuals.
For other donations, we are still working to find the best options.
In the meantime, we are sharing photos of some deliveries we’ve already made. 🙂
• And for Togo, the collection is super intense. Friends surprise us with donations of all kinds of materials. To give just an idea (this list is not complete): computers and monitors, printers, electronic accessories, bed nets, mattresses, sewing machines and sewing materials, small household appliances, household items, calculators, work tools (drills, electric saws, compressors, various tools), medical equipment…
Soon, we’ll take everything to Oulx, in Piemonte, for shipment to Togo. We’ll show you a list of the materials delivered, and later, photos when the container arrives at its destination.
Thanks to all the friends who contributed! With a little goodwill, many things can get a new life…
In 2026, we’ll continue suggesting where to deliver materials in Italy and collecting them for Togo.
