Good morning! January was a very busy month for ATF in Italy: thanks to many friends, we gave new life to a large amount of materials, avoiding the waste of resources that are still useful.

Do you have items you no longer use but that could still be useful? Let’s talk about it!

How it works:
Direct donations: those who wish to donate let us know what they have available; ATF suggests one or more interested associations, and then the donor chooses whom to deliver the items to. In January, ATF advised 9 donors, including 3 cases outside the region.

Deliveries managed by ATF: there were 6 in January, when donors were unable to deliver the items to the associations themselves or when the items had specific uses and we needed to coordinate with the recipients.
We distributed, for example, work tools and 6 non-updatable smartphones: they cannot browse the Internet but are suitable for people who simply need a phone to provide a contact number for work or administrative procedures.
The materials we receive most frequently are clothes, shoes, bags, kitchenware, toys, eyeglasses, sheets and blankets, and small household appliances. Unfortunately, we do not give guidance for furniture: there are no associations interested in receiving it.
You will find some photos of donated items that have already been reused; giving new life to each of these things has been a pleasure for us!

Togo Project: we continue collecting materials for the education center in Aneho. Our second delivery to Oulx is almost ready, from where the container will depart for Africa. In particular, we need bed frames, mattresses, sewing machines, desktop and laptop computers, small household appliances, and work tools.
