BAIRE – CUBA: TWO MORE
We have some updates from Cuba.
Unfortunately, it’s nothing new that these are tough and busy days over there—without electricity, and recently there’s been a new heavy flu, with no medicine available.
ATF’s support continues for the young single mothers and their children. There are two new girls in the group; ATF has offered to support 8 girls instead of 6 starting in September, with a monthly total of $120.
We are also continuing our support for the sewing course by paying the salaries of the two teachers, with the hope that learning this trade may provide the girls with a job opportunity and a source of income.
We have some photos of the children and the sewing class.
We carry on with our support in Cuba, doing everything we can despite countless difficulties…
More updates soon—from Cuba, India, Congo, and beyond.
Hear, hear! We’re also starting to get things moving in Italy… just a little more patience and you’ll find out!
