Altuofianco OdV (ATF) was founded in 2022 from the enthusiasm of its founding members and with the long experience some of them have in aid projects in various parts of the world.

We aim, with the collaboration of sensitive and willing friends like you, to support disadvantaged people and communities who want to improve their conditions.

We want to offer access to fundamental growth factors such as education, health, the development of small economic activities, food, and awareness of their rights, respecting the characteristics of different cultures.

We partner with small foreign associations that have a reliable and cooperative contact person.

What do we do and where? For ongoing projects, go to the “What we do“.

The characteristics of our projects are multi-year duration, small size, and activities compatible with our current and future capabilities.

After starting a project, we constantly monitor its progress and expenses together with foreign contacts; we also periodically visit the site to personally check the situation.

With what money do we operate? We finance ourselves with contributions from many people interested in “doing something” for those less fortunate than us (thanks to all our friends!).

Finally, we’d like to tell you who we are NOT:

• We are not an organization that decides projects only at the table, without consulting the experience of foreign partners.
• We do not have loose pockets; we meticulously check the use of funds and project progress, and we have no expenses in Italy other than banking and insurance costs: the total donations are used for the projects. We feel responsible for using every cent entrusted to us by donors in the best possible way. We have no costs in Italy, other than bank and insurance costs.
• We do not want to start initiatives at all costs, just to “make big numbers”.
• We do not like large projects, which are often dispersive and difficult to control.
