CUBA, SPECIAL BALL, SPECIAL SMILE

Good morning!
A ball from Italy has made a blind child in Cuba happy.
A woman who works with people with disabilities in Baire had asked us for a ball for the visually impaired—one with little bells inside (which cannot be found in Cuba)—to give to Antony, a blind boy who is starting to do sports.
ATF bought it from a specialized manufacturer and had it delivered to Cuba, and in recent days it was handed over. The child was happy! And we’re happy too :).
In addition to the ball, in October we gave Don Carlo, our contact over there, funds to support in the coming months the projects already funded by ATF; and also 4 phones and colored pencils for the children (thanks to all donors!).
In Cuba the economic situation is constantly getting worse, and the social climate is becoming harsher as a result because everything is lacking. On top of that came the hurricane at the end of October, which caused serious damage precisely in the Baire area—fortunately without casualties—and even a wave of viruses that are weakening tens of thousands of people.
ATF has confirmed its willingness to provide some emergency aid if necessary.
Beyond emergencies, ATF continues its monthly support for single mothers and their children for daily assistance and sewing courses, amounting to 150 dollars per month.
