It’s been a long time since we’ve given you updates, sorry about that: we always postponed, waiting to be able to tell you things about the new activities; but, as you will read, we still have to wait a little longer. So, we think that it is important to share with you thee current situation.

Actually, we do have at least one news: Altuofianco sent a second contribution a few days ago for the village of Thandarai (see previous post): so about 25 people or families in difficulty during this period of heavy rains and scarce job opportunities will receive 5 or 10 kg of rice and other food items. Moreover, the students from Wilson’s after-school program will have snacks and some school materials.

There are other aid projects in the process of being defined, but for these, we are not yet ready to start. But rest assured that we are not sleeping: we are super busy building and making operational relationships with some associations in various countries.

It’s a tough life: some partners are eager to start collaboration, Altuofianco too, but local bureaucracies and a world that is becoming increasingly thorny and distrustful slow everything down.

Despite of this, it’s a stimulating period: we are getting to know delicate situations and people with great abilities, clear ideas, and a willingness to do useful things. And we really want to do them too… but we are realistic and know that for a few more months, the activities that bring results and benefits will be limited.

Lastly, for now, we are not asking for donations: it seems right to us, in this initial phase, to only raise funds when the projects to be financed are ready to start, and we can tell you about them. But be ready… sooner or later we will request your help…
